One of the most abundant, sustainable species in the UK and amazing for absorbing flavour in cooking. Whether cooked whole with lots of salt, pepper and oil under the grill for 3-4 minutes OR pan fried as fillets with lots of herby butter, it's SO easy to cook. This is our favourite for a good-value mid-week meal.

  • 700g : 650-800g whole fish or 2 x 160g-200g fillets
  • 850g: 800-1kg  whole fish or 2 x 200g-250g fillets
